About Me

Hi, I’m Dani, Founder of Semillas Strategies—a consulting firm rooted in cultural humility, authentic connection, and equity as a driver of organizational effectiveness and innovation.

As a Latinx, nonbinary DEI and organizational development practitioner with 15 years of experience, I bring both technical expertise and lived experience to every engagement. I help organizations bridge the gap between values and practice—embedding equity into leadership, systems, and culture to unlock engagement, collaboration, and sustainable impact.

For me, DEI is not a standalone initiative—it’s a strategic approach to building resilient, high-performing organizations. I lead with empathy and clarity, helping executives and teams navigate complexity with intention, build trust across difference, and design workplaces where everyone can thrive.

I hold a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership with dual concentrations in Diversity & Equity in Education and Human Resource Development.

Over the years, I’ve partnered with a wide range of organizations—from K-12 schools and universities to behavioral health providers, mission-driven nonprofits, and large corporations. This breadth of experience reinforces my belief that equity work, when done well, strengthens strategy, performance, and culture—no matter the sector.

Let’s grow something powerful together.

My Approach

People-Centered. Joy-Filled. Impact-Oriented.

I meet organizations where they are—with honesty, empathy, and strategy. My approach centers those who have been historically (and presently) excluded, while building systems that uplift everyone. Together, we’ll co-create environments where every person—across race, gender, identity, or role—can thrive, contribute, and lead.

  • Grounded in Cultural Humility and Joy.
This work is hard—and it’s also beautiful. I believe in holding space for the full range of human experience: the challenges, yes, but also the laughter, the connection, the joy. Cultural humility means approaching this work with curiosity, self-reflection, and the willingness to grow. And joy means we honor what’s possible when people feel seen, valued, and connected to one another.

  • Data-Driven, Strategically Aligned.
Meaningful change demands more than good intentions. I blend qualitative insight with measurable outcomes to design initiatives that drive retention, engagement, and performance. Each solution is grounded in your organization’s mission and values, creating a clear roadmap for sustainable and systemic impact.

  • Relationships Are the Work.
Whether partnering with executive teams, HR leaders, or employee resource groups, I help organizations move beyond buzzwords and into the real work of culture change—rooted in trust, collaboration, and community. My approach is not just about what we do, but how we do it: with care, humor, and a belief in people.

Let’s build the future you believe in.
Are you ready to create lasting change—and enjoy the process?
